In only her second marathon, ran Gold Coast 2018 qualifying time and a 19-minute personal best. Three months later, ran another marathon qualifier and five-minute personal best. In December 2017, ran first track race for three years, winning Zatopek 10,000m event, which doubles as Australian championships and Commonwealth Games trial; time ensured automatic selection for Games.
