PROGRESSION TO STEEPLE
"I came to running quite late and was very enthusiastic but also very slow. The steeplechase piqued my interest from the start but I was seeing great improvements on the flat and had a fantastic coach (Tom WATSON) so stuck to 1500m. However, when I moved to my current training base in Loughborough in 2015, I changed coaches to David HARMER. I mentioned my interest in the steeplechase, David accepted the challenge and we started doing the groundwork. I have now completed two seasons in my new event and absolutely love it." (Athlete, Dec 2017)
