Did not finish Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games marathon. “I went into the race in the shape of my life, felt awesome and then tore a tendon in my ankle at 10 miles. Finally gave in to the pain at 14 miles. Absolutely gutted. I thought that was the end of my marathon running days but then with the help of a great friend and mentor I came back faster and stronger.? (Athlete, Dec 2017)
