Additional information

VOICE-OVER
Appeared on British talent show The Voice. "The first thing I told the coaches when I auditioned was that I was an Olympic athlete, so they were aware of that being my priority. It was nice to showcase the different things I can do, but for now I’m not pushing the music in terms of getting anything recorded." (telegraph.co.uk, 7 Feb 2017; metro.news, 14 Mar 2017; pressreader.com, 22 Jun 2017)

SINGING IN THE RAIN
Just turned 20 when she took long jump silver on Commonwealth Games debut at Glasgow 2014. "I had no pressure on me. I was selected in the third place of three. I was ranked out of the medals, outside making the final." The competition was affected by rain but she was not fazed after years training in Stoke: "I know how to deal with rain." In the last round she moved from third to second, missing gold by two centimetres. (pressreader.com, 22 Jun 2017)
