Additional information

GOLDEN START
In their first international tournament as a new partnership, GOH Soon Huat and Shevon Jemie LAI (MAS) won the mixed doubles at the 2016 Malaysia International. "I didn’t expect so much. When he first came to me, I thought that this is our first tournament, so we should take it easy and try our best and try to communicate on court. Since we didn’t have much of a combination, we just played what we could, and to enter the final that day we thought let’s just give it our best and leave it on court." (BadmintonWorld.tv YouTube, 7 Nov 2017)
