Additional information

COSTLY SLIP
On Christmas Eve in 2015, a glass tumbler he was washing broke into fragments and sliced through his palm. "I guess I wasn’t really concentrating and it wasn’t pretty. I ended up having an operation on Boxing Day. It was pretty much looking like I wouldn’t be able to play badminton again. When the accident happened, I sliced a bit of my tendon, but they thought I’d done damage to the main nerve. It was only after I woke up after my op they told me it wasn’t as bad as they thought. But it meant my Christmas Day was horrible. Have I bought a dishwasher now? No. But I do avoid washing glasses." (thescottishsun.co.uk, 17 Nov 2016)
