Tore cartilage in right knee in 2010, keeping him out for three-and-a-half months. (rio2016olympics, 5 Oct 2017)

Reason: "Always been mad about bikes since I can remember. I used to race downhill mountain bikes and play soccer and cricket. But when my sister got selected to try cycling through the South Australian Talent Identification Program, I thought I would see what road and track cycling was all about. My first novice race was at the age of 11, which I managed to win, and won a cool $100." (, 5 Oct 2017)
Ambition: "Whenever you get the opportunity to race Commonwealth Games is pretty special and especially being on home soil. I'm not 100 per cent sure yet, but if the opportunity come I will be the first to put my hand up and take it with both hands. Going to Glasgow on the track it would be pretty cool to go there with the road this time." (, 16 Jan 2018)
Hero: "(Cyclists) Shane KELLY (AUS) and Jack BOBRIDGE (AUS). They both always had so much time for the young kids like me coming through. That's why when I rode the London World Cup with the A team and road with Jack, it was such a weird thing to be there with him in the same team." (, 5 Oct 2017)
