STILL STRIVING
"I've dreamed my entire life of getting an Olympic medal and always said that if I got an Olympic gold, I would go out as a champion and retire. But at the age of 21, every day is brilliant - there's still more to do. A perfect example is that I didn't win the 3m individual. At Europeans, Commonwealths and Olympics, I've finished second place in all of them, so that's something to work on. I've never got a world championship gold." (dailymail.co.uk, 6 Feb 2017)
HIGH HOPES
Tipped as future world champion by four-time Olympic gold medallist diver Greg LOUGANIS (USA). (dailymail.co.uk, 7 Aug 2012)
WALKIES
Father (David) missed seeing him win gold at Rio 2016 Olympic Games because he finds watching too nerve-racking. Took family dog Alfie for a walk instead. (telegraph.co.uk, 11 Aug 2016)
HONOURS LIST
Awarded MBE in 2017. (bbc.com, 30 Dec 2016)
