After forcing an extra end in the gold medal match of the open triples at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, New Zealand lost by two shots to South Africa. "The one thing that Mark (NOBLE) and I agreed on prior to going to Glasgow, was any medal would have been good. I always said when you watch the medal ceremony, especially us, I think the team that wins it and the team that gets bronze are all grinning and smiling. The one that gets silver, they're the only losers on the podium.
