ATTACK
In November 2009, his car was petrol bombed in a terrorist attack. A brick was thrown into his car window while he watched television, and his Ford Focus exploded and was engulfed in flames. "It was a terrifying thing to happen and I feel the petrol bomb could have been put in the window of our house, not just my car. They threw an A4-sized piece of paper into the letterbox which read: 'Your republican connections will not go unnoticed'. We don’t have any connections. We’re not like that in any way. Nobody understands why we were targeted." (belfasttelegraph.co.uk, 7 Nov 2009)
