Younger sister, Sophie, represents England in lawn bowls, winning a gold medal in the women's triples at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, and a bronze medal in the women's pairs at the 2016 World Championships in Christchurch. His father, Ray, played county cricket for Devon and lawn bowls nationally in England. His uncle, Roger TOLCHARD, played cricket for England in four tests and a one-day international. His uncle, Jeffrey TOLCHARD (ENG), played county cricket for Devon and Leicestershire. His cousin, Roger TWOSE, played cricket for New Zealand in 16 tests and 87 one-day internationals, including the 1999 World Cup in England.
