Winning bronze at Manchester 2002 and Delhi 2010, South Africa went all the way at Glasgow 2014. After not conceding a point in the pool stage, the Blitzboks destroyed Scotland 35-12 in the quarterfinal, while Samoa couldn't get any closer in the semifinal, losing 35-7. In an epic final, South Africa brought New Zealand's run of four consecutive gold medals to a halt, defeating them 17-12. (ur7s.com, 2017)
