Having got both, I can't even explain how I am feeling. It's just amazing." (ndtv.com, 8 Aug 2010)
SUPPORT
When she began practising at a small shooting range in the Dudhali area with minimum facilities at age 13, parents raised loans to support her. Funds fell short, so SAWANT and her late father Ravindra knocked on every door to put together money to buy a rifle in 2001. Her mother Sunita said: "Money or family position do not make one successful. Talent, determination and hard work do. We gave her these values and she has proved us right." (indiatimes.com, 10 Aug 2010)
