Additional information

SILVER LINING
Silver in skeet on Commonwealth Games debut at Glasgow 2014 after losing gold-medal match to teammate Steve SCOTT (ENG). His fellow shooter hit a perfect 30 out of 30, while FRENCH missed just one target. "Ninety-nine times out of 100 you will win with a 29. To come second was a bit gut-wrenching, but to be beaten by a teammate is acceptable. Gold would have been nice, but it went to a fractionally better man on the day." (bbc.com, 28 Jul 2014)

GOOD TEST
Silver in double trap at 2017 Commonwealth Shooting Championships at Belmont shooting complex in Brisbane - test event for Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. (shootingaustralia.org, 3 Nov 2017)
