Additional information

EMOTIONAL
Took bronze medal in double trap by beating Great Britain teammate Tim KNEALE (IOM) 30-28 at Rio 2016 Olympic Games. "It is very emotional. There is a little part of me that wanted him to win as well… there was a part of me that felt a bit guilty. Although a minute ago, he was trying to kick me in the butt as I tried to do an interview, so I’m pretty sure he’s got over it." (theguardian.com, 11 Aug 2016)

COACH
Asked fellow shooter Peter WILSON (ENG) if he could work with his coach, Sheikh Ahmed AL MAKTOUM (UAE). After his bronze medal at Rio 2016, SCOTT said: "Without doubt, it was one of the biggest things towards this medal. He is a phenomenal coach - the best in the world." (newsandstar.co.uk, 10 Aug 2016)

TRIBUTE
Former coach Martin BARKER died of cancer days after his triumph at Rio 2016. "Without him I don't think I would be here today... I definitely feel like a chunk of me has been taken away." (theargus.co.uk, 19 Aug 2016)
