Her gold medal came after a struggle with body acceptance through her teen years. Following the medal presentation in Rio (2016 Olympic Games), she and the other two medallists posed with their arms in the air. "All three of us have the same arm missing... it symbolises something more than just having fun. It kind of shows the world anything is possible... we were comfortable being in our own skin."
