NO DISGRACE
At the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games, she did not know her first-round opponent (Canadian Carol HUYNH) was reigning Olympic and world champion. Former Nigeria team technical adviser, Daniel IGALI, said: "She was so confident of beating her, but narrowly lost the bout. She was inconsolable afterwards, until I informed her that the person she had lost to was the world and Olympic champion." (sportsnewsnigeria.blogspot.com, 01 Oct 2010) ADEKUOROYE then won gold at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. (360nobs.com, Jun 2017)
